Dear Friends and Supporters,

2020 proved to be a challenging year for us, as with many charities and organisations in the UK. Covid-19 put an end to all of our regular fundraising events. We decided to use the hiatus to review and change some of our traditions. One such change is to run more events, on and off line. We believe that our online events will enable us to engage more regularly with our supporters and using digital marketing, will allow us to reach out to a wider audience. With Covid-restrictions hopefully lifting soon and with the possibility of us being able to run safe physical events, we will be able to run projects that will appeal to varying budgets. We acknowledge it is not safe to run our Annual Gala Boxing Night in 2021, so the next event is planned for November 2022. in the meantime, we are planning Premier Film Nights, quiz Events with a difference and our first online 4for4 event, where we aim to raise £4,000 for four specific causes.

Whilst 2020 meant lockdown for all of us, it was still a very busy time for HabAid too. We were lucky enough to have been able to continue HabAid’s sponsorship of the Langdon football team. Our logo continues to be emblazoned across the players’ shirts and the donations we provide do so much for the children that play in the teams. We are also delighted to provide much-needed funds for various projects to many other charities in the UK, Israel and across the globe.

We now turn to our focus to 2021, where we are planning several exciting fundraising events and with your continued help, we hope to break all previous targets and raise enough to provide funds to even more much-needed causes in helping the terminally ill and underprivileged children we work for.

Whilst I remain humbled by the support HabAid has attracted from its donors and supporters, our work is never done. We continue in our relentless pursuit to make a difference in the lives of children still suffering worldwide. Your generosity does change the lives of hundreds of young children who will have opportunities that previously they could only dream of.

It never ceases to amaze me how British people turn their attention to the plight of less fortunate children when called upon to help. I am proud to announce that we are working hard to ensure 2021 will be an outstanding year in the history of HabAid.

Please help us to achieve even more for our HabAid charities. There are a number of ways you can help today:
